The World Trade Center’s Twin Towers in New York City were the tallest buildings in the world for a short time and an instantly recognizable symbol of America itself. A demonstration of technology coupled with breathtaking ambition.
The towers were destroyed during the attacks of September 11, 2001, after being struck by two hijacked commercial airliners. The North Tower was hit at 8:46 a.m. and collapsed at 10:28 a.m. The South Tower was hit at 9:02 a.m. and collapsed at 9:59 a.m.

New York City and Miami Photographer Ron B. Wilson is a specialist in an award-winning documentary style of photography with an emphasis on environmental portraits.
